SMIS at UGA offers an excellent networking model for students to connect with top employers. Not only have I been exposed to high profile recruiters, but I have been able to foster relationships with these individuals thanks to the opportunities within the society. I have heard that a potential hire is only as good as their resume and interview skills. But, these abilities are worth nothing when no one is there to see it. SMIS can solve that problem.
